Terms
Short, because there is not much to agree to. Nothing is sold here and nothing is charged for.
What this site is
A description of Lightmorphic Paste, a free browser extension, and a place to read about it before installing it. It is published by Lightmorphic Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17423646.
The software
Lightmorphic Paste is free software under the GNU General Public License v3. You may use it, read it, change it and pass it on, under that licence. The full text ships inside the extension and sits in the repository.
The licence says the software comes with no warranty, and that is meant plainly rather than as legal decoration: it is given to you as it is, and you use it at your own risk. Your notes are your own bookmarks, so keeping backups of them is worth doing, the same as with anything else you would rather not lose.
What we do not promise
- That the extension suits any particular purpose of yours.
- That it will keep working if a browser changes how bookmarks or extensions behave.
- That this site is available without interruption. It is a static site on GitHub Pages.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Links out
Where this site links elsewhere, to GitHub or to the Chrome Web Store, those places have their own terms and we do not control them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
